OWSP Program Service

The Oprah Winfrey Scholars Program is committed to empowering our neighbors in the West End of Atlanta and other local communities. The program partners with educational and other organizations to provide transformative service experiences for scholars that positively impact our community. During the 2021-22 academic year, in addition to a day of service, OWSP sophomores, juniors and seniors served at Russell West End Academy, Booker T. Washington High School, and @Promise. Across these institutions, scholars served as academic coaches, teacher assistants, STEM tutors, and GED tutors.
