Seniors Shine through the MORE Conversations Podcast and Senior Capstone Project

Senior scholars implemented the MORE Conversations podcast, a social justice-focused video podcast series created by the Oprah Winfrey Scholars Program in the spring of 2021. The MORE Conversations podcast provides scholars with opportunities to engage business, education, civic and community leaders to discuss social justice issues relevant to the Morehouse College and the broader community. Scholars conducted in-depth research on a social justice topic, identified experts and leaders, developed interview questions to elicit high engagement, and facilitated engaging conversations.

Seniors also completed a capstone project, sharing an overview and highlights of their experiences in the program. This project included a Virtual Reality video featuring Oprah Winfrey senior scholars talking about the impact of the Program on their matriculation and lives.
