Jeanine White

Jeanine D. White is the Study Abroad Program Coordinator in the Office of International Education (OIE) at the Andrew Young Center for Global Leadership(AYCGL). As of September 2019, some of her primary duties include daily management of the College’s study abroad website, providing one-on-one support to College faculty and staff leaders to develop their study abroad program webpage and application processes, support the Director of International Education with creating and executing campus-wide campaigns to increase student interest and participation in study abroad, as well as collaborating with the College’s external providers to promote their semester and summer study abroad programs. Ms. White also provides administrative program support to the AYCGL Institute Directors on various projects and activities at the Center.

Initially, Ms. White joined the Center in January 2019 and served as the Office Manager for the Andrew Young Center for Global Leadership and Program Assistant for the Oprah Winfrey Endowed Scholarship Program before moving into her current role.

Prior to January 2019, Ms. White was a valuable staff member of the Morehouse College, Department of Psychology for over 18 years. Throughout her tenure in Psychology, she provided exceptional service to the faculty and students. Some of her programmatic emphasis included, the creation of a scholarship, academic, and research opportunities resource center for psychology majors, annual community outreach project, an alumni outreach network, creation of departmental publications, event planning and coordination, and departmental recruitment visit coordination.

Ms. White holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Media Arts from Morris Brown College, is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, and a proud mother of a daughter and a son.
