Faculty Roundtables

The AYCGL hosts interdisciplinary faculty roundtable conversations with faculty from Morehouse who teach on various aspects of social justice-oriented leadership. In recent years, Ron Thomas and David Dennis presented on on ‘Sports and Leadership,’ Sam Livingston and Michael Simanga presented on the ‘African Foundations of Leadership,’ Vicki Crawford discussed the ‘Heroines of the Civil Rights Movement,’ Clayborne Carson spoke on ‘Martin Luther King and Charismatic Leadership in Mass Movements,’ Andrew Douglas and Cynthia Hewitt presented on the ‘Idea of the Black University,’ Frederick Knight and Sonya Loftis discussed recent book publications, J.K. Haynes led a panel on ‘Leadership in STEM Fields,’ and Kristin Moody presented on ‘Empathy-based Leadership.’
