Kick off IEW with rhythm and energy! This immersive cultural event will introduce the art of Capoeira—a historic Afro-Brazilian tradition blending music, martial arts, dance, and resistance. Facilitated by Capoeira ATL, students will explore the cultural roots of Capoeira while participating in a beginner-friendly movement workshop. No dance experience required—just come ready to move and connect.
Tuesday, November 11, 2025. Now Boarding: Career Takeoff (In partnership with Career Services), African American Hall of Fame, 12 noon - 1:15 pm.
Study abroad isn’t just about travel—it builds global skills employers value. This interactive workshop will help students: 1) Speak confidently about global experience in interviews, 2) Strengthen resume and LinkedIn language, and 3) Incorporate international experience in professional brand. Students will walk away with tangible language and tools to stand out in future internships, fellowships, and career roles.

No passport? No problem. This workshop will walk students through everything needed to apply for a U.S. passport, including required documents, and processing timelines. This session also prepares students for the AUC Passport Fair later in the semester. Our mission is to make global opportunities accessible—starting with a passport.
