Internationalizing the Curriculum

To advance the strategic initiative, Morehouse Beyond Borders, the Office of International Education focuses on increasing the global experiences and perspectives of Morehouse students through classroom experiences and content. During the 2021-2022 academic year, Faculty Fellow Charles Norton led a workshop for faculty, “Internationalization in Teaching, Research, and Engaged Arts”, supporting faculty integration of global knowledge and perspectives into research and curriculum.

During the 2020-2021 academic year, Faculty Fellow Denise Callejas led a workshop for faculty, “The Internationalized Syllabus”, supporting faculty integration of global knowledge and perspectives into the curriculum.

During the spring and summer 2021, the Office of International Education sponsored the Faculty Fellowship in Global Curriculum and Study Abroad. This summer 2021 fellowship provided training and support for four faculty members to integrate global content into their courses and provide faculty-led study abroad experiences as part of their course offerings.
