Keith Hollingsworth, Ph.D.

Keith Hollingsworth is professor of management at Morehouse College. He received his B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Professor Hollingsworth has taught at Morehouse since 1994. He served as Business Admin department chair from 2007 - 2018 and has served on numerous faculty committees, including Chair of the Faculty Council and Chair of the Curriculum and Educational Policy committee. Starting a decade ago, his research shifted to business history and entrepreneurship. In particular, he has researched the life of J. B. Blayton, first Black CPA in the Deep South, noted entrepreneur and Morehouse faculty member. Recently, his work, "Legitimizing Black Businesses: Three Examples from the Civil War to Civil Rights", was published in the Journal of Management History. As a prison education faculty teaching affiliate, Dr. Hollingsworth will offer a class on the history of Black entrepreneurship.
