Kristin Moody, Ed.D.

Kristin Moody is the Director of Teacher Education and Interim Assistant Director for the Higher Education in Prison Program, and she teaches for both the Leadership and Education Departments at Morehouse College. Kristin is an ICF accredited leadership coach and has supported higher education and K-12 public education spaces as a consultant for nearly two decades. She has supported parents and school leaders in the creation and/or replication of more than 50 public schools across the country. Her research on the role of empathy in learning and leadership was awarded "Dissertation of the Year" by the University of Southern California Rossier School of Education (2018) and has been featured in keynote talks and trainings for TED, Court Appointed Special Advocates of Georgia, National Registry for Interpreters of the Deaf, Integral Care Austin, the University of Ras Al Khaimah (UAE), and dozens of other non-profit, community-focused organizations globally. She is a volunteer reader for the visually impaired at the Georgia Radio Reading Service and volunteer youth boxing coach.
