Ms. Marissa Baham
Marissa Baham is the Program Coordinator for the Oprah Winfrey Scholars Program and Special Programs in the Andrew Young Center for Global Leadership.
Ms. Baham is a seasoned higher education and nonprofit administrator. Between 2014 and 2021, Ms. Baham was employed at Louisiana State University. She served LSU in their Academic Programs Abroad office where she managed a portfolio of Study Away opportunities in Asia, the Americas, Australia, and Africa. She was very active with the National Student Exchange consortium and presented at multiple conferences. Prior to LSU she was employed by Girl Scouts Louisiana East where she worked as a program/events manager and volunteer coordinator.
Ms. Baham is a first-generation university graduate from Louisiana State University, where she earned a Bachelors in Mass Communication and a minor in Sociology.
