Higher Education in Prisons [AYC-HEP] Student Ambassador Program
The Higher Education in Prisons Program in the Andrew Young Center [AYC-HEP] supports an annual cohort of 10-12 students at Morehouse to serve as Prison Education Student Ambassadors. Student Ambassadors support the AYCGL’s Higher Education in Prisons Program in the form of assisting faculty teaching affiliates, peer-tutoring, promoting higher education in prisons on campus, attending HEP conferences, participating in reentry services, and assisting formerly incarcerated students who seek to continue their education after they are released from prison. This will be our third cohort of AYC-HEP Student Ambassadors.
