Equal Justice Initiative Study Tour

Morehouse Men, mark your calendars! The Andrew Young Center for Global Leadership is hosting a study tour to the Equal Justice Initiative (EJI) Legacy Sites in Montgomery, Alabama on November 1st.

You'll explore the Legacy Museum, which chronicles the history of racial oppression in the U.S. from the 1600s to the present. The tour also includes the National Memorial for Peace and Justice, a tribute to the victims of racial terror and lynching.

Founded by attorney Bryan Stevenson, EJI works to challenge excessive punishment, provide legal representation to the wrongly convicted, and offer re-entry assistance to formerly incarcerated individuals. This study tour is an incredible opportunity to engage with history and learn about ongoing efforts for justice.
